I am glad you got it working. I personally have not read or found a wiki page about it, but here is something related.

I usually pick up some of my other information from Javadoc pages. I learned some time back that the structure inside a method, when using LibGDX code, tends to be bit more "functional" in style. Once you have those parts down, you can hopefully pull off the MVC thing you want.

probably this was strictly demanded by the logic of the engine) otherwise why is it so strange to design)
